Default Soft Top Question

What brand of soft top did you install on your cobra? Do you like it and what problems if any have you had with it? I will be installing one on my Lonestar.

Need to contact the manufacturer on this one. Robbins makes original Cobra tops but they will fit very few replicas (Kirkham, ERA). Not familiar with Lonestar but tops and side curtains are tricky. Luck to ya.

I have a soft top and side windows, also A/C and heat, makes the car more comfortable, however, I run with the top off, more than I do with it on, I mostly use the top in the winter, it cost over a thousand dollars, so you need to consider that also, mine came from the manufacturer, however most large cities have a company or two that will make one for you, call your local trim shops, also you can search the various Cobra manufacturers web sites

Won't fit the Kirkham without major modifications, due to higher roll bar, I gave up on the top and got s tonnel cover instead. . .

Default Tops

Lone Star has a 94" wheel base and most of the other Cobras have 90". The Lone Star doors are 4" longer, therefore most other tops will not fit. You can buy the frame and have a local shop make the top. We have a couple of guy here who have made their soft tops.

Default Lone Star Soft Top

Hi Lawler,

I know this thread is over 4 months old. I was wondering if you ever found a solution for the soft top. I'm in Houston, so I'm not too far away from you. did you find a local shop or did you have to fabricate one yourself?

Thanks,
Eric
