I guess that's a "No". I've never heard of them, but there are lots of guys (and gals) who frequent this site regularly and many of them have access to info I don't.

Do you have a link to "Kit Cars to Go" or any other details?

It appears that they have become active on eBay, selling bare bodies and body frame kits.

Raw Body kit

Body/frame kit

I think when we last checked out that website..it appeared to be based in a residential address.

Would like to see the guys from that new company check in here....

Computerworks, you know me, I think I am the last person to shout alarm or spread any unvarifiable facts but I have to admit me thinks this is worth questioning;
Gene94's first post- welcome by the way, and a question about a company that apparently has been unheard off.
By chance is Gene94 from the same town or area that this unheard of company is from? Would like to here more about it too.
Just curious.

You normally get what you pay for.

Frame looks very primative, and looks to use donor Fox Mustang parts. Body looks horrible, and the last thing you want is a "thick" glass body.

My advice? If you want a donor based and/or inexpensive good quality kit, spend a few grand more and buy an FFR, Hurricane, or Turn Ten car.

Just my 2 cents.

I agree with Sal (Power Surge). Plenty of good, quality kits with a good reputation on the market at a fair price.

You live in Perkasie, PA, I was raised in Quakertown, PA!

Good luck on the Cobra search.

Randy

Looking at the pics on their site, I don't even see mounting points for a roll bar, fuel tank mounting points, or any way to mount suspension "enhancements" such as sway bars, Panhard bars, etc....

Looks like there is a reason these cars are so cheap, you have to do a lot of the work yourself.

Keep in mind that the Cobra kit car industry is littered with failed businesses that have left their owners high and dry. Where will you get parts or warranty issues taken care of if this is just another fly-by-night business like some many others that have gone before? Better to do business with a more established business that will probably be around when you need more than the chassis and a "thick" fiberglass body.

The three mentioned above in Sal's post are a good start.

Every Cobra company mentioned started small. You wouldn't believe the crap F5 took when they were just an upstart, Now they have done $100 million in bizzness. Give the new guy a chance, go look for yourself, and then make your choice. Don't forget Classic 11, B+B, Hunter, and the other 50 or so out there.

Perhaps some more specific details of the issues and the attempts you made to resolve them with the vendor would add some depth to you claims.

thanks

I bought the car on EBAY 6 months ago, Brian Greener part owner delivered the car. Because I was involved in another project we pushed the car in the garage. I got to it about 3 weeks later. With the body off the frame, it did not look level, after taking measurements the right side of the frame was 2" longer then the left, the height was 1/2" lower on the left then on the right. The bolts that hold the read end to the frame had not been drilled through the frame. The motor which was stated as new was not, the front claipers had no brake pads, I have not checked the rear for shoes yet. The body will not sit on the car, if you look at the cars on Ebay he is selling now, the fronend sits up 6" to high, and can not be adjusted without cutting the frame. After I and another guy who bought the first one posted bad feedback, and made a claim with Ebay, Ebay tossed him, he has comeback under a new user name. His partner in VA called and offered to pick up the car and fix it, I said no problem, but escrow my money until the car comes back, he said no, I will give you a receipt. Brian then called and told me to "fix the car myself, cut this weld that ect.... and buy the way there is no warranty on the car." These guys are con men. I hope this helps someone else avoid a big problem. Also try Street Beasts in Miami, I toured their facility and looked and there Kits, WOW I'm impressed. They have offered to help me repair the frame problems on my car, at no cost. When I buy another Kit whos's kit do you think I'll buy?

Before you make a decision, you might want to click on the "search" feature and type in "street and beasts" (but without the quotes).

Lowell means you should search this forum for discussions on Street Beasts. The reviews have not been glowing...
