Arrow NEW Company Needs Opinions Please,

Hello Everyone,
Brian here with Kitcarstogo, I've been purchasing my door hinges from IWC and we have been installing them into the 1 by 1 frame that supports the body. I've noticed the positioning has to be so precise or else the Doors want to scrub as they open. In some incedents the hood/trunk also. I've noticed so many other factories hand lay the mounting brackets into the body. Is this why they do that? Does that eliminate the too close fitting issue. It just seems that the hinges (Cold rolled steele resembling a half loop) would fit better if mounted almost level with the object they are lifting, "Correct"?
Any help is a blessing, Thank you so much.
Brian

Yep, you are rite about the hinges, The pivot almost has to be above the the main body surface. I would suggjest making you own hinges, or look at what the streetrod world has to offer. Lots of trunk hinges might work. You guys making Daytona Coupes yet? I got a set of molds if you want to add that car to your line.

Thank you, I remember the first set of hinges we recieved and thought "What" how do you do these and no instructions, then I figured it out freak accident because we couldn't figure out where to mount to get the right lift of the doors off the body, the closer to the body the better the lift. My goal was to offer better quality by installing them 100% into the 1 by 1 roll, but better quality seems to be Handlaid into the body and just worry about the rool for impact and body support!
Thank you, Brian.

Daytona Coupe Molds would be Awesome, I'll keep that in mind. We're having to sell the Kits so inexpensive just to cover opperation capital and payroll, but we're hanging in here.
Maybe some deals I'm working on will go for the good and I can consider it.
Thank you so much. My current goal is completeing the door molds for my 49 Merc Chopped and Channeled

We just the hinges on another cobra kit, we'vee decided the 1 by 1 is great for the Hood/Trunk, but the doors are better on Handlaid mounting brackets onto the body of the Kit itself.....
Really Kicks those doors nicely without the risk of future scrubing, the hood and trunk kick up fine.
Thanks so much, Brian

Joey,
Brian here, Yes", I got your email, and Patrick I got yours too.
Thank you both sooooooo much.
I'll be posting pics of our First COMPLETED Turn Key, and I'm going to look at a 50 Merc in a field, the back is almost rusted completely away, the Grille and surround plates are supposed to be great, this may give me all my 49 Merc Parts and I can start offering them
Thanks, Brian.

Thumbs up Starting 2 Turn Keys

Finally Kit Cars to Go is being given the opportunity to produce Two Cobra Roadsters Turn Keys 66's. We start this week on Wednesday if all goes well. One will be fitted with the 460 and the other with a 302 Carb'd, I am ready. This will show a completed product......
I think this will help a bunch at showing our products and our completed Kits. A finished product has been our Number 1 question form customers, we aint skeered", been wait'n on this moment along time.
. I will post the build on my website and probably on here as well.
Thanks everyone, Brian at kitcarstogo.com
