beautiful car and pics... got any more from a distance? Is that the original paint?
Is the bunge on the back lid for when you approach the WOW mark?

Very nice!
I didn't know that the original side pipes were bolted on to the headers.
I'd like to see some more photo's too.

that is so cool, seeing it in a "normal" garage is like seeing a mermaid in the fishtank at walmart.
thanks for the pictures, your dad's a lucky guy.

Ack! The elusive orignal orange S/C..... me/*dies*
You have GOT to get us some more detailed pics . You should get with Ron (computerworks) here on the forum, I am sure he'd love to come see the car in person for some one on one digital photos.
The car does look to have had some minor changes to it, but overall looks like a very original car. That car just may have taken a spot in current history for the new holy grail of unmolested S/Cs.
Oh, and welcome to the site!!

Wow great pictures please post so more shots when possibly. Any underhood, firewall or undercarriage shots would be awsome!
What does the rearview mirror tag say?
Mybe something like...
Warning Cars disapear more quickly than expected!
If you see another car approaching Yield!
It's likely to be another Cobra!

[yawn]...Another 7 figure barn find.
A pretty amazing, largely unmolested original. Reminds me of a great song..."Down in his barn, my Uncle preserved for me an old machine for fifty odd years...".
Play your cards right and your "Dad's car" could become yours someday. Enjoy!

Unmolested?
What an incredible find! As for the unmolested part, I can not imagine being more molested than having indoor-ourdoor carpet in a car.
If you replace it, all of us on this site will promise not to call the car restored and we will all swear the carpet was original.
As all are saying, would love to see more pictures. Congratulations on a great car.

Thanks for sharing this treasure - it is a great glimpse into the past.
My one and only son has dibs on my Cobra (it's only a replicar) sometime
in the distant future - like when I can no longer drive it.
