I go to a fair number , but I rarely stay long,an hour is about all I can take. I did go to a nice show 2 weeks ago in the Greer area. I just got a Daytona coupe on saturday so I may take it to the next show at Whittaker Chevrolet.

I can't blame you there! I made that show last Oct.,and was supposed to go to the one back on the 9th,but we were late coming back from vacation at Hilton Head. The company that built my engine is in Greenville off Whitehorse Rd.(Palmetto Restorations). The owner has not one but TWO Ford GT's(black and blue/orange). He owes me a ride after dropping 15 large at his shop over the winter.

Chad is one of my close friends and has done much work for me on my 67 mustang and now has the rear clip fom my GT40 repairing some damage. He, another friend with a Viper and me in my cobra did a nice mountain drive last Sunday. The Ford GT was tough to keep up with in the twisties. Have you seen the project he is now doing? A guy dropped off a new (67 miles) Shelby gt 500 mustang and a 67 mustang with instructions to put the running gear and drivetrain from the Shelby onto the 67. My mustang is on his web site--the black restomod.

Oh my!!! That is really nice!! I got in one at the big swap meet in Charlotte at the SPF booth in April. They seemed to really do their homework!!
As far as Chad goes....he's a super guy,as is his whole staff at Palmetto.Steve built me a fabulous engine and they really took their time and did it right. They also installed a set of pusher fans for me as well as a hefty driveline safety loop. I'm in LasVegas at the moment(this job of mine is awful......truly awful),but I'd sure love to see that car!! I'll throw you a PM. Tim
