Default Gas cap basin

Does anybody have a picture where I can see the gas cap basin some of the original cars had. It is an additional depression in the body, maybe 1 inch deep that is riveted (8 rivets) onto the shell. The gas cap is a little more aerodynamic because it is not so high. I have found a photo but it is not very detailed.
I don't mean the splash guard you can see also.

Thanks in advance.

Migge...the pic you reference is a CSX2000 Comp car...

Do you need to see 289 style caps...or rear-fender, 427 Comp-S/C style?

Ron,

I don't need a gas cap itself. I mean the surrounding you can see on the pic. Some 289 racers had it, like 2128.

Cheers

..so, you mean the 289 rear cowl mount...not the 427 fender mount?

I'll look for some close-ups.

..not the cowl mount on top to avoid gasoline all over the boot lid while filling up the tank. Just the "deepening" under the Gas cap.

Here's a few... I do have many more.

Quick-filler cap on CSX2000 Comp was usually a custom deal, so don't look for, or worry about, "correctness."
