Front tyre pressures/understeer?

Having just returned from the Nurburgring I want to reduce front understeer so do I increase tyre pressure or decrease it?

It is currently 22 front and 20 rear. I was thinking about running 20 all round.

Several general rules that pertain to either end of the car:

Increased tire pressure > lower slip angle
stiffer springs or anti-sway bar > higher slip angle
More negative camber (within reason) > lower slip angle

Don't know what slip angles are. Just want to know do I add air or take some out???

Stricklypersonl was saying that if the front end has lost traction, understeer, you have exceeded the slip angle for that end. So, you want to make a change to lower the slip angle on the end that is not working (or you could increase the slip angle on the other end)

So........

Increased tire pressure > lower slip angle

This of course is hugely simplified and many, many, many factors (including the one behind the steering wheel) play into a balanced car which is what you seem to be trying to achieve by reducing understeer. Remember, understeer is safer. Most of our cars you can change from under to neutral to over with the right foot.
