I always liked this one. I seemed to miss even placing at the show, but it is fun to drive to. I wonder if it because it was a GM show and I was the only Ford.

This was a 255 Cu In Indy Engine destined for perhaps Jimmy Clark in 1963. With all the activity on 48 IDAs lately, realize that these are 58 IDA's. They are physically a much BIGGER carburetor. The CFM potential itself invalidates all the theory about sizing.

I don't recall where I got this shot this photo but notice the dog ear in the upper RH corner. "Someone" was close to the action!

Computerworks
Ron,
This is a favorite of mine taken at SAAC at Fontana, Cal. You may remember it was quite hot and CS sat out there for hours placing his signature on everything from glovebox doors to 'T' shirts and photos.
He didn't mind me looking over his shoulder and in fact asked me if it was my glovebox lid he had just placed 'CS' on..

Boy, there are some really great pictures here and thanks for sharing them. I think the most realistic one is the last one on Jamo's post. But there are some fantastic cars in the pictures, and especially of the originals.

Rick,
Fixed your link. And I still say that is the most natural photo that he posted.
