I use a waterski mirror near the top of the windshield above the stock mirror. Its also held on by suction cup. A little more money, but no blind spots whatsoever! Pops right off when not in use.

I have been looking for a better alternative to the little one and the water ski one looks like a winner to me. I just ordered one from Bart's. Thanks Marko. Chas

I found a convex, suction-cup mirror at AutoZone. It worked great for a couple of years, giving a wide-angle view in the left rear quadrant. Then it blew off one day, and I don't mean into the car, but the road. Crunch . . .
Waiting for one to show up at AutoZone. It worked well and didn't cost much.

This mirror meaured 4"x8" according to the spec, look like a bit to big for cobra
CIPA Suction Cup Mirror. Designed for function and style, this contemporary suction cup mirror is an outstanding value in rear view mirrors. With no holes to drill or tools required, this fully adjustable mirror easily attaches to any clean, smooth, non-porous surface. Made of salt spray tested, non-corrosive materials with universal 4" x 8" convex safety glass .

I double checked, that is the mirror I use, not in place of the original mirror, but in addition to it. Like I said, pops off if you want to show the car. If you click on the "safety" section of the side bar, there are a number of mirrors to choose from.
