New Job for Chuck Blum of SEMA fame
I mentioned this company in the past, but with many people seeming to be having emissions problems, I thought I would bring it up again:
Chuck Blum took over as CEO for STWA today. STWA makes an emissions reduction product that also increases performance substantially. I am waiting for someone to try the MagChargR product from STWA (both throttle body, and carb spacers).
With Chuck moving in on this thing, it really peaks my interest....Why would a guy like this become the CEO of this company if the product did not work. The perfomance website listed power gains of 28 HP and 30+ Tq on a stock 6.0 liter Chevy pick-up engine (similar figures with a Chrysler product).... then you read the emissions reductions you get at the same time. THEN, they claim a significant fuel mileage increase too. I got shot down the last time I brought this up...Time for another look?
Any builders out there who could give me some feedback?

Still trying to find out if anyone has used this part yet...It was shown on "Truck U" on the speed channel recently and is supposed to boost power, torque, and mileage, and lower emissions. Gotta have one if it works!

I looked at the website, and honestly it looks a little sketchy to me.
It would be trivial to have dyno charts before and after. 1/2 inch or whatever height carb spacer vs. their device before and after. But thats not what they have. Instead they have some dyno charts that look nothing like a print out I've seen (although I'm hardly an expert) that have speed in MPH as the X axis and not RPM. It also doesnt display air/fuel on their charts so maybe even if it does make more power its just running leaner. Hard to know.
If this was my company, and the product was legit I would to find 10 or 15 websites like club cobra, get 1 volunteer on each to try it, and pay for a before and after dyno session at an independent shop. Those 10 or 15 people could also report back on fuel consumption a month or two later and be fantastic inexpensive advertising.
Just my take.

There was a recent claim of 20% fuel mileage gain and about 20 HP gain on a Dodge Magnum by Ron Jenkins of all people... I still think its worth a try.

It’s a carb spacer and most Cobras lack hood clearance when installed even with the hood scoop. They come in phenolic resin or as aluminum carburetor spacers normally and they all claim the same thing. Check them out below:

Just to through my in my 2 cents, 30 years ago I had a friends grand father that was experimenting with magnets and liquid. He was working with the professors at Wisconsin university, he always had his funnel and magnet set up in his car, at family party's he would being it out and if you were drinking lite beer and pour it through it would come out stronger tasting and more potent and darker in color. Your body would adsorb it differently with them aligned. He had a lot of problems with getting a patton for this because they could not prove what was happing. You could pour perfume and would not have to use as much, he had them on the water pipes in the house no longer a need for a water softener. ( After time the pipe would have to be replaced because of the metals falling out of the water would clog pipe, slight down side)
What was happening was that the molecules were aligning and grouping together. They also had to deal with flow rate vs. gout of the magnet or strength. The uses were endless. The best place to put it was close to the end use.

Thanks for that, "down the road." The theory behind these guys is that the device is placed after the carb instead of a magnet on the fuel line, and they have a fuel line device that shuts off when the engine is off.
The tests look quite impressive to me!!! I want one and I'll modify my intake, if I have to, to make it fit under the hood. Somehow this company does not look like a gimmick to me.
