Well It's officially gone
Today at 9:30 am the Mystic the car no one thought I would sell SOLD, as a friend stated it's the end of my era and the begining of a new one. I have mixed emotions, I did get a generous 5 figure amount for it but after all it's a car I created and belongs to me, a one of a kind that everyone knew was mine. Now the fun starts replacing one toy with another, I am going to look at a 28ft black and yellow Baja speed boat next week

I also did the Baja hobby, had a 24.5 boss with a 496. Blast while you drove it but when you got somewhere there was no where for people to sit. The two front seats are fixed, the rear bench one can lay on and then you have the sundeck, you go out with 4 guys and as you can imagine only one lays on the sundeck. Bow is worthless unless you like fiberglass ovens. I finally went to a Rinker 24.5 captiva, with a 350 mag, like a floating living room with all the seating areas and 15K cheaper than the baja. It runs 52mph wide open where the baja did 63mph. Baja drank gas like it was going out of style and the depth guage never worked. Make sure you get the trim control on the gear lever, mine was on the dash and really sucked when you are going 60mph and want to adjust the trim and have to reach to the dash while you are airborne!!!
The advantage of the cobra is I do not have to pay storage and can look at it ever night, the boat i see once a week at best and since it has rained 90 plus days in houston this summer I have seen it 5 times all year.

meh... no more so than a Cobra. Both are money-sucking beasts. Sounds like a nice way to round out your toy collection.
BTW... I just bought your twin
