How does yours react?
If you punch it in 2nd gear at 3k rpm's? and in 3rd at 3k rpm's?

She usually just slumps over the passenger door until she wakes up.

Oh you meant punch the throttle......
In second it would spin them a bit but take off like a rocket. In third it would do the same thing with a little less tire spin. This is with the GY Billboards.
It really depends on the tires. With a set of BFG's it would boil the tires as long as you kept your foot in it in either gear at that RPM.

Yup. And how warm they are. My MT's will spin in 2nd when cold, but they stick very well when warm.

I don't have it anymore, but my Shell Valley with a 533hp 428 FE would blow the tires off in 2nd gear at about 20-25 mph. Just a little over half throttle would do it. That was with Yokohama 295's on the rear and a 3.70 rearend ratio.

If I'm quick I can keep the wheels spinning thru every gear to 60mph.
Then if I hit this bottle that's another story...

She starts yelling and cussing me out.. actually I don't know if it will spin tires or not as I have never done that before as I am saving car for that special moment.. hopefully it will when that time comes, how does your car react when you do that??

My car squats and goes. Little to no spin in mid 2nd and 3rd, just pulls like a muther! I expected it to just melt the tires with a 540 hp engine.
I am guessing it is the suspension set up. Since my car is new and I have no prior experience with these cars, I figured I would ask.

Last time I tried this, I got tire smoke and had to back off. Haven't tried it since. I was moving along at around 30 - 40 MPH.

What kind of tires (e.g., stock from SPF, or upgraded to Avon, drag radial, etc.)?
This will make a huge difference in terms of how a car responds to stomping the gas pedal.

I usually drive around with 325/50 15 Mickey Thompson ET Street drag radials on the rear. I just went out and tried it. I guess 3000 RPM hammers pretty hard. It's like a light switch with the Pro-Systems carb. Make sure you're pointed in a straight line.
For the other two brands of tires I have on other wheels, 15" BFG radial TA and 17" Yokohma A032R soft compound, for the car you might as well just park and look at the car rather than trying to hook up on a punch in 2nd gear.
