Anyone find discounts on Canton or Aviaid oil pans?
I have a 351C going into a Contemporary. Looking for a Canton 15-710 pan with 15-711 pickup, or Aviaid 55330 pan with pickup. Has anyone found a place that has good prices on either brand? I have no strong preference to brand, whatever I get the best deal on is fine with me. I know the FE guys are picky on brand for originality, but hell, this thing's a Cleveland - the oil pan is my last worry about originality issues.
I looked at Armondo's, and his pans are a work of art, but a bit pricey for me.

I've found the best prices on ebay. You may have to shop for a couple weeks waiting for the right deal to come along, but if you see a good price for a pan for a 351W, check the seller's "other items" and they sometimes have good prices on their other pans also. Some also offer free shipping, which will save you $20-40 dollars, depending on what some sellers charge for S&H.

Have you considered a pan made by Armando. He makes a real nice clone of Aviaid.

Second Armando. I have bought 4 pans from him.

If you talk to his wife you might get a deal.

I went the Armando route too. His pan was $100 cheaper than directly from Aviaid.

That's what I do!
I actually have friends who don't even bother looking for prices on stuff anymore. They've told me they've found the best price and I prove them wrong time and time again. So now they just ask me to find them X part at the lowest price. If you need anything else let me know. I have the gift of sitting at a computer for 12hrs/day surfing the net so I usually know where to start looking!

767Jockey,
I have a Canton 15-710 with 15-711 pickup still in the
box unopened. Sold my Cobra and don't need it anymore.
$200 for both if you still need one.

I'll take it! How do I get in contact with you? PM me or email at AE340B@aol.com.
That's AE three-four zero B, not three four letter O. Thanks!
