Default quick help -what type of contact cement

I need to get started on my interior and rubber seals for under the hood and trunk.....is there a specific type of contact cement I should use?

Any guidance would be appreciated.

3M Black Weatherstrip Adhesive. About $6-$8 a tube......nothing better. Follow the directions on the tube.
Find at body shop supply businesses and good harware and auto supply stores. Looks like this:

As another choice, I used Weldwood Contact Cement by Dep. Make sure you get the Gel formula. I used this on my ERA 661 and nothing has come loose yet.

I like and use the 3M stuff.......whatever you use, buy some of those surgical looking rubber gloves and be sure to wear them while using this stuff, it sticks to everything and ain't easy to get off your fingers or clothes...................wear old clothes that you don't like, no matter how careful you are, you'll get some on your clothes....been there-done that....more than once....

3M Super 77 works well for the carpet. You can get it at the autoparts store.

thanks..it just calls for contact cement and I was hoping to find something that wasnt so messy. From reading about 3M you have to put on both surfaces, allow to dry and then set up again...ugh. I was hoping there was something clear (i.e. like contact cement, that I could just apply to the rubber and stick it on?)
