Default Oil Cap Outside The Engine?!?

approx at 3:50 of the video the man talk about that oil cap on the front right side of the car. why that car has oil cap in that position? all cobra with an original side oiler have an oil tank in that position? never seen before!
i'm sure the man on the video explain it well but i'm italian so experiencing some difficult understanding the language on the video

The car I'm getting from Roger Bolick in Austin will look the same. I haven't decided if I want the windscreen as it's not practical for passengers but.....

i suppose the dry sump lubrication is better to ensure lubrication during strong acceleration and lateral G force..

No.
The dry sump system was an option for the 427 Comp cars. Only a few actually had it factory installed.

so the cobra of that video is a very very rare beast
someone know how many dry sump original cobra were built?

I don't mean to be unkind, but when I first saw that episode on My Classic Car I was thinking that car was too good to be owned by a tool like that.
