Default New CC Garage...Show and Tell about your ride.

Hey, just added a new feature to CC tonight. This allows you to add pictures and description of your Cobra in your own "garage" of sorts. So show it off already!

The link to edit your garage is in your UserCP http://www.clubcobra.com/forums/usercp.php

The link to view all of what people add is along the navigation bar at the top of the page called "CC Garage". http://www.clubcobra.com/forums/vbgarage.php?do=list

Hope you all enjoy.

Can't seem to be able to upload any pics Brent. I tried resizing them down to 800x600. Is there a max size?

Cheers

User Notes...

I did some testing to see why some could not upload photos.

The new app, vbGarage, has photo size limitations..
...raw, hi-res images direct from your camera WILL NOT work.

There seems to be a limit of about mid-100k or so for image files size.
Further, the album viewer does not resize the original image....

So, for best results, I suggest you use 800x600 as the image dimensions, and use a JPEG file that is not larger than 100k

You can use the Image Resizer discussed in this thread to compress and resize your raw images.

well i was thinking, why start a new forum when the journal hasn't yet been fixed?? so... I went to check so i wouldn't get scolded, and the journals now work. I quit checking weeks ago because it wasn't fixed.
glad the journal is fixed; the garage looks nice. Bummer about having to resize the pics tho'. Doesn't make it easy!
I'll get something going in it.
thanks for all you guys do to make this site fun!

Ok, I increased the size limit on the pics to 220k from 150k. Really what I need to do is find a way to adjust the pictures on the fly so people can upload larger pics. Until then, this will need to do.

alright. finally found the time to resize and get this done. Although I think I made my pics TOO SMALL!
I didn't check the dimensions accepted before I changed them. I think I maxed them at 300 x 400 or so pixels. Can't remember. If I ever get another FREE HOUR I'll re do it. not likely...

how many pics do we get?
I put in five.
