I saw the car yesterday at the shop in Humble. Was a very nice car. It hasn't been worked on at all yet. I was interested in how their expansion tanks work and the dealer showed me the one on that car. (Will not work on my Lone Star because hose routes out passenger side) Car will need serious front end, fiberglass and other work. After seeing video I am surprised that it wasn't damaged more than it was. Firewall forward will all need to be checked and repaired.
I have 77 miles on mine since completion, inspecting and titling. It has my respect already. I have a 14 yr old that will never get to drive this car. Testosterone and youth, a perscription for accidents.

The door was never latched good in the first place, you can see it's not fully closed while she is still in the parking lot.

Did anyone read the post below the video. One person said he knew it was a replica because real Cobras have the gas cap in the center of the body, not out on the right side atop the fender. I guess he's never really compared the 289 to the 427 before.

This seems much like not having considered what is beyond the target before shooting.

Accompanying this utube was a video titled "AC COBRA CRASH" where a guy shows off and ends up over the curb on the grass---just after a parade of Ferrari's went by. Doe!

Click on the original video, and AC COBRA CRASH should pop up afterward.

Darwin Award.
I love the off camera comment, "She did it! I knew it! I knew it!"
What - were they having some sort of bet? Nothing like letting someone look for a gas leak with a match.
Natural Selection at work.
