The three no-go items in my book are steering, stopping and fire safety. Most other things won't kill you if they act up. I'd find someplace to safely check the brakes starting from slow speeds and working progressively up to highway speeds. I don't want it to pull either direction, nor do I want the rear brakes to lock before the front brakes. Other than an alignment, the key to safe steering is knowing that all the connections are properly torqued and secured. That includes everything from the steering wheel through the wheel nuts to the tire pressure. Fire safety is mostly about routing and securing fuel system components and electrical wires that are not protected by fuses/CBs (e.g., main positive battery cable). ... Good luck.
