Can anyone I.D. this Cobra
Thinking of looking at this Cobra, it is very close by.
I'm having doubts that it is a true CSX. http://www.parkautomall.com/inventory.htm

Doesn't look like a CSX car to me.Definitely not CSX 3032 for that price! Maybe an ERA judging by the engine compartment.

The ad says V-6, but in the pictures its a V-8.
If its too good to be true, it probably is!

i think that is one they had on ebay and some of our guys here spotted it as an early ERA .something to do with the fuse strips in the engine bay and some other stuff.

Yeah there is another longer thread about this same car, CONFIRMED by multiple sources, it IS an 'early' ERA. Apparently the 're-saler' doesn't know squat about replica Cobras.

Just curious whether 3032 might be the car that ERA used to pattern theirs after. Maybe one of the owners of this replica installed one of those "fake" ID plates and the dealer thinks it's real.

ERA used CSX3252 (street car) for their 427 car and CSX2345 for their FIA. The car in the add was already discussed in length. Early ERA done very well, not CSX.

Doesn't ERA put the battery in the trunk?
It does look like ERA pedals with what looks like alum. shavings in the driver footwell.
Real pretty motor! Especially for a V-6

Only in the FIA. Standard issue is in front of passenger footbox.

All though many, including myself, move the battery to the trunk. It's a BEAR to service that battery under the hood, besides what ever wieght transfer advantages might apply.

i have an early ERA, and the battery is still in the front right. Definitely a BEAR to service!

SO,,, moving the battery to the rear? Be advised, my positive cable was routed really close to driveshaft where it connects to the rear end. Well, "How close was it?" SO close the rotating drive shaft coupling chewed a hole in the insulation and left interesting 'burn marks' all along the coupling. Strangely, I never experienced any problems but discovered the potential for a BIG problem one day when I had to pull the trans...
You've been warned!
PS Looks like a 'tie wrap' broke that held the cable in place. Might want to use something 'heavy duty' or maybe a couple of tie wraps, as the case might be.

The battery in the ERA FIA is inside the fender behind the passenger side rear wheel, not in the trunk.
