Littleon.........i don't know too much on BnB but pretty much on FFR. I had my car built by a professional builder/racer of FFR's. The nice thing on these cars is......you have many choices! many people like the options of building their own....or...having them built. most people that do not want to build...buy other cars....ie, BnB , SPF, etc! Now, i think many cars are very comparable....some however, are better than others, depending if you like certain frames.(round or square)...style (more period correct vs a bit different) and so on! In my case.....my builder built my car with no expense spared at all!!! you won't see too many FFR's built at around 65k! and that is not counting the cost of the builder! so, my car would be at a different price point than most, i believe. But...i put many options in my car.....ie...all panels were anodized black....dropped footboxes....fortes adjustable suspension....fuel cell....Mercedes carpeting everywhere....16k motor....special pulley assembley and the list goes on!! I wanted it a certain way....and paid for it! Now, you can do it much less expensive.....or go the way of BnB! They do have a nice car...but not sure they are still making them under that name...or another. Someone here will know........they always do! Great place for info.
Bottom line..........do some research....get what you really want...not just something to fill the urge! I did that my first go 'round......paid the price! I definitely would put my car up against most....even the high end turnkeys......but remember....mine was a 'one off' type of thing......built to the very highest quality possible, as good as any factory built...cause he spent 3 to 4 months in detail and anal analysis of the build!! Course....that is what I paid him for!!
have fun...........the guys here are good, and knowledgable, you will get good info.
