Thumbs up Huge changes at Factory Five Racing

Way to much good news here:
http://www.factoryfive.com/whatsnew/...extranews.html

Looks like they are having trouble with first link but here is the basic info on the Factory Five Racing website:

Not a FFR owner, but I wish them the best of luck.

I must respectfully contradict your claim mister Dupont. The Factory Five Roadster Kit Car is a 1979 thru 1993 Mustang that has a fiberglass kit car body installed. This is not to be confused with the Era cars and the like that do not use the Ford Fairmont and Mustang chassis as their basis. They are Real kit cars, not this Fairmont re body scenario. They are built on a real Ford Cobra Kit Car IRS chassis. These Cobra Kit Cars are proudly built in the United States of America with American labor.

Stoker, you're off base. The FFR isn't simply a body on an older mustang chassis and can be completed to the same level of quality as any kit with the right skill & dollars. One could argue that the FFR chassis is more accurate than many kits, including ERA.

Don, pretty cool that they'll have the exact body of CSX 3035.

If I were a competitor I wouldn't want FFR producing a more authentic product either... Quite frankly, that is an important differentiator for those marks.

Stoker, whenever you are in Central FL drop me a line and we will go for a ride in my "fake" kit car. It's not much. But I try...

Dick loved the folks at FFR, and it's a perfect match. Bravo.

Stroker,

Plenty of FFR's around Fort Myers, Florida, if you believe in your heart what you just posted (and really made yourself out to be the fool), why not take a rode around to see these cars in various stages of build. It is uneducated people such as yourself that give this hobby a bad name. For your future posts, I suggest that you do a little more homework before making posts such as these in the future. Either that, or get your mom and dads permission before you use there computer again.

I could be wrong, Bill, but I think I read somewhere that they were not legal for sale in the state of Pennsylvania, for some reason or another.

jmimac351.... That is one sexy car! Right click... save as!

FFR is doing great things! All of our kits could be built around the same concept as an FFR. It's all in whether you want to use all new parts or used parts. I've seen a few very nicely done FFR's with both, new and used parts!

Good luck for the future of FFR! It looks bright!

If not for FFR Spec racers, Cobra track racing would be all but forgotten. Thanks to the Smith brothers for bringing Cobras back to the track.

(would like to have a spec racer too)

I guess there is not much that can be said for an individual like Stoker and keep this topic on the positive side so I won't.
I think it great that FFR is finally bringing a 100% correct body out for the 289FIA and 427SC with the option of buying it as a donor build kit for $12,990 or as a complete kit (less engine, transmission, wheels, tires, bodywork and paint) for $19,990
Complete IRS with brakes, spindles, 3.55 gear diff with posi is an option for an additional $2,900
Don

Listen...this is not the first misinformed post around here.

Stoker is a troll, unless proven otherwise. It is best to ignore trolls.

Keep this thread on topic, or we'll have to start it over.

Thanks
