Great news for the FFR crew!
If they can pull off a FIA or slabside as a complete kit using IRS it will be great news for the hobby and bad for the rest of the manufacturers.. I really prefer the slabside cars and hope that they can pull this one off and have it look right.
Roll the edges like an aluminum car, get the dimensions right, and they will get a sale from me!

I hope that FFR does a mirror image to make the opposite side of the digitized side, rather than an entire "copy" of CSX3035. (did that make sense?)
Both sides should be symmetrical that way.

Original Cobras were not symmetrical and side to side variation is normal. Symmetric would be abnormal.

JMIMAC's FFR is beautiful. One of the things I like about Cobra's over the older Corvettes I owned is they are lot all exactly alike. The owners can change the wheels or shifter without taking grief from the local Corvette Club.
I had 64 vette I loved until I restored it back to original. the Bloomington Gold guys would critique it and look for flaws. Not much fun to drive after that. I own a Backdraft and they are always making changes, I think it is great that FFR is making chnages.

I wonder will the digitized body fit on a MK1?

Great news!
Hmmmm. An accurate, digitized body coupled with FFR's chassis and backed by the company's resourcefulness and marketing prowess. This can only be good for the Cobra replica industry. Hurry up and build it, boys - I can't wait to see one.

If they make an accurate FIA Spec racer, I may sell one of my other toys (no, not the Kirkham) and get myself one. Dang, I'm getting a little excited (no, not THAT way you pervs!!).

Actually, Bruce Chervenak makes a Lemans top for the FF5 and I believe is in the process of updating his molds for the new body.

Just be sure to use wire wheels Jay. The slabside is awsome with those wire wheels.

Do you know, does he make it for the FIA? Pardon, I'm starting to drool on my keyboard.
