Want a cheap want-a-be Cobra for your wife to drive
We have had this since new, its extremely nice and from a mile away could pass for a Cobra.

I have a 91 with 17" wheels and I love it. That is my weekend car.
My wife and I are separated the day I brought home my BDR....
By coincident? Was planned very well.
I temporary have a cold bed, but my baby is in the garage ready for anything when I want to without complaining....

I have to admit this car has never gave us any trouble, we have only put 30,000 miles on it though. If it doesn't bring a decent price I might just put it away till my grandaughter is old enough to drive in 3 years.. my 13 year old grandson will probably want the Cobra..LOL their's twins..

Hey...there's a blue Mazda Miata with a sb V8 stuffed in it, that shows up out on the track at Willow Springs International. Don't remember the owner's name, but boy, he can drive! And that thing is quick.

'91 mariner blue NA is my daily driver with over 242,000km (150,372 miles for you guys on the other side of the pond).
it's clearly better daily driver than front wheel drive shopping cart.

It sounds like these can go forever.. we are more than satisfied with this one, I just want something else as wife doesn't drive it and I have my eyes on something else already...

much as I rate and really like the Miata (or MX5 as it gets badged in England) I dont see the Cobra similarity, apart from it being 2 seat convertible.
Theyre excellent value too! Good luck selling it.

short wheelbase. low to the ground. roadster. small. two seater. eye catching.
similar, right??? ok... maybe from a mile away... in the dark.
(very sad to say... but i have had a couple of cutie girls that don't know the difference between a bus and a motorcycle say my Cobra kinda reminded them of their sister's miata. )
hehe. good luck with the sale!

My wife drove a Miata for 5 years and put about 150K miles on it with no major problems...It got great fuel mileage...We bought it used with 4300 miles on it and it was 13 months old...I sold it last year for $7500.00 less than I paid for it ...Great Value , but other than having 2 seats and 4 wheels , I do not see the COBRA in it!!! You could drive 99 Cobra's and 1 Miata past Ray Charles and I bet he could pick out the Miata!!!

I got a great deal on a 2004 Miata with 28k miles last year that I gave my
wife for Christmas. It cost me $13k to buy, register, and insure it.
She loves it, doesn't drive it too much so we'll have it for a long time.
It is not by any stretch of the imagination a Cobra but is a lot of fun to
drive and I have no trouble passing gas stations with it.

I think BMW stole many more Cobra lines in the 2000-2002 Z3's.

almost bought one of those pretty little z3's!!!
a z3, a boxster, hmmmm ended up with a Cobra... kinda hijacked my own car buying!!!
love the look of the z3. Not quite as crazy about a the z4, or whatever it's numbered now. The z3 looks really nice.
that red is great!!!!

Ford's 5.0/T5 drops right into a Miata, and they call 'em Monster Miatas...first gear is totally useless, though!!! lol !!!
AND, speaking of Miatas, there is a company that puts body panels from a '65 Mustang (hood, fenders, grille, trunk lid) onto a Miata!!!

A 26 year old girl came over and looked at it and wants her mechanic to check it out, she said the car looks brand new.. She has a 1992 with 130,000 miles on it and is ready to upgrade.. I hope she buys it as she really loves the Miata's.. I almost hate selling anything I own as I know it is in damn near perfect condition.. when I go out looking for a vehicle I find a lot of junk advertised as excellent condition, maybe it is for a blind person.. I guess I am a little anal when it comes to cars since I was brought up in a poor house and always lusted after the finer things in life.. some day maybe I can afford them..
