Default What to ask santa for christmas....

Ok, well many of you know that I am in Iraq. I'm coming home on vacation from Nov 1st through Nov 24th. Since i will not be home for christmas, my wife, daughter, and I are going to celebrate a month early! I just put the order in for HM1104 so I want to compile a list of things to give to the wife!

I'm thinking along these lines:
wheels/tires
dual quad setup
heads
stroker kit (408)

My question... what are the small overlooked things that I could ask for? If you had just put your order in for your kit.... what would you want? Obviously, any parts will contain part #'s and location so i know they're the right ones!

Lets hear it!

IMO, having your wife buy your engine parts is almost as dangerous as being stationed in Iraq....

Well... of course that is a given!

Very true... but, see... I send her a digital wish list with links and part #'s to the EXACT pages of the EXACT parts. She knows what she's doing and she would definitely ask someone before just buying. All my friends are her friends and they're all car guys as well so they would have a general idea as long as it isn't a cobra specific part. She'll get me some other stuff too, that I don't know about, so it's not too bad.

OK, when other Cobra owners look under my hood one remark I tend to hear is "Dang, I wish I had used those reservoirs." The black Girlings look nice, don't cost all that much, and work with every Cobra. You can often times find them on Ebay, or the usual Cobra parts places, maybe Moss Motors as well. Here's a shot of mine:

I think what he meant is that if most of us asked our wives for engine parts, our chances of being killed by (un)friendly fire would be much greater than being stationed in Iraq. Thanks for what you are doing over there!

OH... ya, I see now! haha

Those girlings are very nice and I hadn't thought about them! I've seen them on some cars and thought they looked waaay nicer than the plastic ones that are usually used. Definitely a good part to put on there!
