Josh
Donnie was to have left Kuwait at 1am--arrive in Indiana by 2pm Saturday
Of course I'll sign the model for you--would be proud to do that for anyone that has one--there are also Revell 1/16 kits out as well as 1/25 and Johnny Lightening
Funny thing--I used to live in CS apartment building in LAX and he was around our car a lot, but I never thought about getting hin to sign it---it was more like look but don't touch--he was just my landlord and Goodyear dealer. We were more concerned with out running his SOHC fueler and was more concerned he was spying on our stuff.

Sweet Jerry! i'll let you know IF/WHEN I get one! I've been wanting to start collecting the dragster type cars for a while but up until now I really didn't have room for a display case big enough to hold several of them.

Josh and Gregg
Truth is not many of us out here know what you are going through being in a combat zone. I do not pretend to know how difficult it is for you both.
I can only say thank you for keeping our home safe and for helping to insure our children's safety and their future as well. As I see it you are protecting our children as well. How could any parent say thanks for that?
It is because of men like you doing what you do in a environment like you are in right now that has kept the United Sates of America the most desired place on the planet to call home.
Cobras although very cool will never replace family. I do know first hand that I had a damn nice one at one time. I made the decision to get rid of it for better use of the funds for my family. Material things or the love of a family are not and should never be used in comparison in the same sentence.
God Bless you both, your troops and fellow contractors.

You Get 20 Ft Of Snow!!!!!
FSSTNOTCH You get 20 ft of lake snow, don't you?? Friends in Bath live on top of a mountain and have 5 vehicles, 1 truck 4-wheel drive,1 AWD car, 1 boat, 2 snowmobiles for winter to spring to get down the 1 mile road which is an 5-8 degrees up and down with 4ft. ditch on one side and 300 ft free fall on the other. Crown on the road is 2ft and just 2 trucks wide( pickup only) NO DUALLYS. Have to pull into driveways to pass others. Beatiful area. July 4 weekend there is a boat regatta with all wooden boats, Chris Crafts, Old Towns, and they cruise the 10 mile lake. People are very nice, I keep looking at all the FE motors in the bigger boats and ask about repowering the boat with other power like chevy I would be happy to take the boat anchor off your hands. These boats are in perfect condition. Anyway I have a snowblower but 20ft of snow that's a problem. Last big snow in NJ was 18" one and there was fighting about where to put the snow and people where shooting it in each others yards and driveways. The road truck comes by and fills in the driveways again. Explain that the truck goes in 1 direction and if you shoot the snow to the right and clean some off to the left the driveway stays clean. Help out a couple of old people that need to be able to goto hospital. Best thing was watching the paper flying through the air or sheer bolts being snapped. The Times is a large paper and fun to watch coming out of the discharge tube. Goto go Stay safe, keep your power dry, Any thought on the pool?? Ps only 368 miles to your little town Rick Lake

That's funny Rick! I can't wait to go home! hopefully there is plenty of snow in November! I'm going to go snowmobiling! Most fun of any toy I've ever owned! You would think it would get cold but nope! It's actually HOT! haha
The weekend I boarded the plane to go to Japan for 2 yrs with the air force, was the weekend about 5 years ago that Buffalo got 6ft in like 2 days! haha Fun fun! I can't wait to move back to the Erie area. No more landlocked states for me! I'm actually looking at a house that's about 1/4 mile from the lake. Only major downside I see is that in the winter the wind blows straight off the lake and once the lake is frozen.. it is very cold!!! But, winter comes a little later when you are right on the lake also since the lake doesn't usually freeze till late nov early dec. Ahhh.... it won't be long now! 252 days till it's all over! 38 till vacation!

Nope, not home yet! Bought my tickets the other day. May 29th is the day!!! I'm getting excited!!!
I've been around, I check the board daily but haven't been posting much. We've had some issues over here keeping me from the internet too much. Busy busy busy! But it makes time go by a little quicker!

Josh, stay safe and get home to your family and friends. Pretty soon it'll be "one day and a wakeup" then the big bird back to the good ol' U.S. of A. Take care.

Josh, remember what I said in my post back on page 2. Contact me when you start "the great job search" back here in the States. No guarantees, but it sure sounds like you and SRC would be a good match. Heck, if you wind up in Charleston you'll have year-round Cobra drivin' weather.
Or if you want a cooler climate, we usually have some openings down in Antarctica.

Hey Lane! What's up? I bought a house in PA so now I'm kinda locked in there. I applied ot the Pennsylvania State Police Academy the other day. I'm hoping to hear back from them! I always wanted to be a police officer of an Elementary level math teacher as a kid. I figured maybe this would be an opportunity to go for it! I guess based on those 2 career dreams... you could say I've always wanted to help people! haha If that falls through, I've also applied to a few other places. Even considered getting into the auto detailing life. My Brothers Dad does this and he doesn't live too badly. WHo knows, as long as I make enough to support the family, I'll be happy!

What part of PA? I have a bunch of friends near Carlisle and I drive the Speedster up there for the Kit Car Nationals in May. C'mon out and look for the Speedster crowd - usually right next to the Cobra guys.
