Thanks to all for your prayers
Greetings from PA
Josh's surgery went very well, spent 11 hours on the operating table. After much manipulation and the removal of his old fusion hardware and the addition of new fusion hardware his curvature is now down below 20% and he was sitting in a chair for several hours yesterday. Today hopefully they will get him up and have him take a few steps, maybe even a trip down the hall, or at the very least across his hospital room.
Again we want to thank all of you who sent us your prayers, and a special thanks to those of you who donated blood either directly to, or in Joshua's name.
Sincerely,
Bill S. & Family

Good News!!!!!!
Bill,
So glad to hear that things went well. I know he is a tough little trooper and has been through some tough times.
What is the prognosis....is this the last operation?
You guys are in my thoughts and prayers.

Bless him Mr Mustang and God listens to us when we pray in Faith. I am being treated for Acute Myeloid Leukaemia, its been a long road but have walked in Faith every step of the way. My car remains a target for me and I share your anxiety. Be blessed and continue to pray as I will for you.

Bill,
Glad all went well with the surgery. One of these days I am going to get over my fear of needles and the unknown and get out there to find out what blood type I am and to donate blood!

Bill,
Long operation but sounds like the surgeon was busy and all went well.
Hopefully this is the last one?
My daughter in law had similar surgery to straighten her scoliosis and went
from 70 to about 20 in one shot. She is early 30's and her parents didn't
do anything about it when she was younger. You are saving your boy a lot
of trouble down the road by doing it now. She is doing very well and is
glad she went through with it. Also is 1 1/4" taller now.
I'll keep Josh in my prayers for quick healing. God bless you and him.

Bill:
My mother went through 7 surgeries for a similar condition during my high school years, so I know what you all have gone through. Medical science has certainly progressed in the past 20 years. Have everyone keep their chin's up. The news of Josh getting up so soon after 11 hours on the table is outstanding.
The best to Josh and the rest of your family.
