Just finished customizing BDR#191
Greetings from Sunny South Florida to all Cobra Club Members!
This is my first post although i've owned BDR#191 for the past three years. For this past year, I fully customized my Backdraft Cobra based on my style ideas.
I can proudly state that i did all the work myself with the exception of manifold NOS drilling. After all of the paint fumes inhalations and bruises knuckles, is done!! (although in all honesty, I'll find more things to add in the next couple of days)
I posted a slide show at: http://s222.photobucket.com/albums/d...t=f731eb9e.pbw
Any feedback, good or bad is truly appreciated.
Thanks,
Joe G.

NOS purge was routed to both "shark fins" with blue led's. When purge blows at night, it looks blue.

Nice work, Joe! I REALLY like the wood dash.
How "street friendly" has that front spoiler been for you - you know speed bumps, driveways, etc. ?

very nice workmanship, i prefer the original look and not the street rod look, but I do admire the work you did

My mistake was that when I originally installed fiberglass spoiler, I used Bondo so it would not look like an aftermarket add-on and sure enough on the first speed bump, it cracked paint basecoat on bondo where spolier meets body.
If you'd notice, I riveted a sub-spoiler I made from floor board rubber molding to protect spoiler and it has work well ever since as long as I'm careful. I also raised front end half and inch.
I will tell you that it has positively enhanced aerodynamics of car though.
