After working on the railroad for 33 years I can join in with the foulest of the foul-mouthed, the arrogant, and the know-it-alls, but while working on the track, because that forum is usually appropriate for the several of us ***holes. However, this website appears to be more family-oriented, read by thousands of men, women and probably a large share of teenagers.
Jamo, several of your answers in this thread are belittling, overbearing, border on filth, unnecessarily condescending and just embarrassing.
Can you dial it back a few notches? Could you moderate yourself? This is supposed to be an informative and fun site.

601HP: You are obviously new here. Thats ok. It gets pretty rough in here at times. Par for the course here though. Pick up one of those "thick skin" suits. You'll feel better.
Jamo was actually being nice. You need to be here when it gets nasty. You want to see nasty? Buy a Continuation Cobra and say its a "REAL Cobra" here and you will get the picture Sour grapes brings out the worst.

Buy the Avons and be done with it. (They are great.) If folks continue to buy them, then Avon will continue to make them. So all of us that have them would love it if everyone else bought them.

I was just going to say, Evan, that he is not a newbie.
601hp...I was having some fun with some friends after sniping away about four dozen spam threads from the site all morning and answering dozens of e-mails while the site was down over the past several days so folks like you could enjoy the site when you visit every now and then. Sorry if it bothered you. There are flows to threads that infrequent visitors don't pick up, and my intent was to counter some pc-talking "overbearing know-it-alls" who comment about fitments without experience. There simply are not thousands of women or teenagers around here based on the stats, but not everyone enjoys the same level of discussion. Then again, I can't stand folks who come on infrequently from their pulpit to attack other folks on a personal level instead of using a PM to voice their personal concerns...but that's just me. I suggest you block my posts. I can show you how, if you'd like.
Evan...bite me.

...and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Jamo, you never fail in putting a smile on my face. I for one might be offended if I drove a Prius, but that isn't my cup of tea, as I don't expect it is for anyone reading this particular post. Keep it up...I can always use a good chuckle after a long hard day at work .
I can't stand these T/As much longer. Those of you that are satisfied with them, you're lucky. I have had my BMW dealer road-force balance all four of mine and they are as bad as ever. I will either go with the B-Boards, Hoosiers or the Avons if the price weren't so high. Cold tracking or flat spots that iron out as they warm up has got to be better than these permanently square BFGs. And the look of the B-Boards.... well, 'nuf said!

nothing brings a smile as quick as 5000 RPM blast past a Prius.
I was waiting at a light on my way home from work on day last year when a Prius owner rolled down the window and protested the noise and gas consumption of my car. I told him he forgot the excessive use of rubber and left a small cloud of tire smoke when the light went green.

Do the AVON"S have lettering on the sidewall like the billboards? Any one have a closeup picture of the sidewall?

Don't believe the Avons have white letters. Some crafty work with an exacto knife could no doubt make a nifty stencil!

Interesting, I need some new tires and really hate to loose the BILL BOARDS for their lettering, but these Avons are tempting.
Uh, maybe I could order some Avon Lipstick as well, #5 white sure do it. 'Avon calling'.

For a minute there I had to check which forum I was on.
I hate my BFG's. I would love to go to the bill boards, but, they don't fit on my FFR pos very well.

We all?
You got a mouse in your pocket?
Jeez, the sucking up is getting a little thick around here.
No offense to the moderator, he's a straight answer guy.
I have a lot of aspirations, but "to be like Jamo" is not one of them.
