Lucas Switch Wrench
Hi Guys,
I'm Doing Some Major Re-work On My Instrument Panel.
I'm Looking For A Wrench To Fit The Lucas Switches. The Round Ones With The Two Small Slots - - About 5/8 Inch Diameter.
I've Seen The Lucas Switch Wrenches Advertised / Mentioned Somewhere.
I Tried Several Searches Here And Came Up Blank.
Any Help / Suggestions Will Be Much Appreciated.
Thanks -- And -- Y'all Have A Really Great Day.

Yeah, Ron - - That's Exactly It.
However I Called Joe This Morning And Although He Believes He Still Has One Or Two He Has Just Relocated His Shop And Has No Idea Where They Might Be. He Said It May Be Weeks Before He Gets Enough Sorted Out To Be Able To Find Them.
Sooo - - I'm Trying To Figure Out What "plan B" Might Be.
Thanks.

What a POS...painted and everything.
Now THIS is REAL. Made by Tom Kirkham just for me while we were on the phone during which I was assking him how to get the damn switches off without screwing it up. He already had it in the box and ready for shipping by the time I finished my rant.
Works muy goodo, and has a treeasured place in my toolbox.

Blackjack,
Just in case you don't have it here is the link to where that wrench is listed. About half way down the page on the left.

Ron
Jamo,
Are you sure that is real or is it a replica? I assume the rounded end of the handle is for you to put a long extension in to get more leverage isn't it. But it does look simple enough to make one if you have the right tool.

Ron,
Thanks. I Called Joe This Morning. See Previous Post.
Jamo,
How The Hell Are You???
That Looks Easy Enough To Make. I May Give It A Try.
By The Way That "painted P.o.s." Is Painted In A "deep Lavendar, Pearlescent Laquer", That's Why They Charge $25.00 For It. I Just Have To Have It Though Because It's An Exact Match For My New "boxers".
Y'all Have A Really Great Day.

Blackjack,
Welcome back! I see your keyboard is no longer stuck on capitals! Only cap'n the first letter of each word!
BTW, did the house fire/insurance thing ever get settled?
Regards,
Rick

Hey Rick,
It's Good To Be Back.
I Still Type In "all Caps" But The Web Site Automatically Translates To The Form You See.
Nope - The Fire Situation Goes On, And On, And On. My Lawyer Missed A Filing Date By One Day And The Judge - As He Should Have - Threw It Out. I'm Now In The Process Of Sueing The Lawyers For Mal-practice.
The Stipulated Amount Of The Loss - As Agreed To By Both Sides Was $777,740.00. I've Got About A Snowball's Chance In Hell Of Getting It All But Enough For A New 42' X 60' Shop Would Be Very Nice.

Buy a cheap socket the right diameter and use a high-speed cutoff tool or grinder to shape the two teeth on it (deep socket if working on toggle switches)...
