100c = 212F. That's reasonable given your water temp of 85c = 185F. Most oil temps will run 15-20% above water temps. The problem is that if you are reading 212F at the sensor, the bearing temps are a LOT hotter. That's where you want to cool things down and I'm experimenting with oils right now to figure that out.
