If someone is going to go to all the trouble to build something like this, why would he put the distributor on the wrong end of the engine?

Very nice toy but I would rather spend this kind of money on something else.

You could have my RC controlled Cobra for a lot less.

The "buy it now price" is higher than some on Cobra Country.

Isn't that the truth.

I'm about finished with my build & it didn't cost $29,900 for mine!

No thanks, I'll stick with a full size Cobra!

Hell for that price you could get the FR 2/3 scale car that is advertised on this forum and your kids could actually drive it.

The Conley engine has been an Internet darling for several years. First introduced to the public via an article in Hot Rod Magazine over 10 years ago, it became the defacto standard in miniature, push-rod based V8 engines when CNC machining was really not that accessible to most people. If you ever saw the video with the black Cobra rolling around with that engine, you'd swear it sounded like a real mini Cobra.

Yeah, it's a LOT of money to spend on a little toy. But the engineering that went into that thing is quite incredible. FWIW, the engine was patterned after a SB Chevy, hence the distributor on the wrong side.
