Default 1965 Cheetah from Italy part three

Hello Cobra friends,

my Cheetah is very closed to be finished: cooling, oil and elettric systems are finished. Fuel line is complete now. I have only to paint the body and test the car on the track.

Ciao a tutti.
Masermat

Tyres are the Dunlop vintage race tyre that we use in Italy for racing in the Historic races, for the pedals space yes it is very small but this the Cheetah chassis that reduce so much the space that you ca use.

Ciao

You say that the person you bought the car from told you that was the "Wausau Warrior" here is a link with some history on that car. http://www.cheetahcars.com/miscpicture.htm It was reported to be a Fiberglass Trends car with a custom frame not a Bill Thomas car. Your car is beautiful and the upgrade to disk brakes will be a big help. You might want to go to 8 1/2" x 15" wheels in the rear. Also reinforce the wishbone trailing arms.
The best of luck,
Fred

Sorry if it sounded that way. I was just trying to relay some of my lessons learned the hard way.
