That would be great we can see photos of Geoff Howard restoring one of the many original Cobras he has owned.

Right under that we can see pictures of Evan trying to explain to Billy Andrews the correct spacing of hood rivets.

Mark IV, Wayne

I noticed, because I asked. It just took longer than we thought......it was on fire for a while.

That's funny. I didn't realize there was a dispute. I just like the commercials because when a man puts his name on the line and "means it" - well that means something to me.

Here's a summary. SAAC has no comment because they are apparently in ligation. Amy apparently does not have much to say on the SAAC Shelby license thing because licensing is handled out of a different Shelby company.

Since neither side is saying anything, this thread has become a place to discuss other subjects with Amy, like Team Shelby.

LOL, As far as I know there is no litigation, Shelby licensing is moving on and we SAI is moving forward with Team Shelby. We will have some more updates on the club soon.

On the Zmax question, yes, Carroll does like the stuff and we support it. It's been tested and really seems to work well.

He uses it, He likes it, he does the commercials for free, zmax also sent us cases of the stuff, that we put in the trunks of some of the cars we build. we randomly did this, since they were gifts to us, we made them gifts.

While were at it, I wonder how much A. J. Foyt gets? In fact, what was your salary last year CSX700? come on, some questions are just rude.

... but thanks for that interesting footnote on zMax Amy.

I second the motion. I think it would be great to compare a real 60's Cobra to the later Shelby re-makes. How does Shelby's replica compare against the original? Also, highlight the improvements made in the re-makes.

Excaliber

As for your question about my salary, i would have to say it must be more than yours...............i'll leave it at that

I would have to agree with Real 1 & Paul F, it would be a excellent idea to do a comparison of the before and after (original & continuation) cobras !!

Amy
A couple other side notes about Zmax. One of the owners of the company (Zmax) is none other than Bruton Smith (one of the Fortune 400 richest men) who also owns Speedway Motorsports. Las Vegas Motor Speedway (see where this is going) is owned by Speedway Motorsports. The industrial complex in Las Vegas housing SAI is also owned by Mr. Smith.
So free commercials maybe, just adding a bit of information.
Oh ya, Zmax. Shelby's engine shop sent it out for lab testing and evaluation. It's mainly parafin, no problem with that it's just been used for years before in other products of this nature.

Default Parafin?

So, it's a wax job? What's next, Pledge?
