I guess by looking at the poll. That is something that Amy & CS should be thinking about. If it is about the money then CS should welcome all cars with open arms, and stop distancing them. Then again it maybe too late?

I know of a third type of lawyer, but he who shall not be named in this thread might disagree..Either that or think that we might be singling him out because of his replica of an original

Why can't saac carry on without Shelby's support? How much $$$ are we talkin' about? Is that all it is about is Shelby paying or not paying them money? If they have 5000 members and up the dues a little bit, seems like they'd have some decent moola.

I don't think it's about SAAC not having the money, it's about Shelby not letting them use his name any longer, and Shelby demanding all their documents and info.

Trev
DeLorean certainly was a lucky crook, all things considered. i am truly sorry he stole from British citizens and escaped the justice of this world. A few years in the Old Bailey would have been nicely deserved. He did pay a big price in Detroit, given the wifey thing and all, but certainly no restitution to Her Majesty's loyal servants.
John should have left that thieving task to Colin Chapman; who also escaped his due justice, simply by dying. Cheap shot escape, that. No talent, no really great lawyers lips. Shame really, rather undramatic, poor show and all that...
Who would have taken the most British Sovereigns, DeLorean's big hits in N. Ireland or Chapman's longer bleeding, mal-design torpedoing recommendations, tricky currency deals, off-shore money buckets of bag money or just general cheapness? Inquiring minds want to know.
i will be disappointed to learn that DeLorean came in second. He never planned on being second in anything.

I just got a letter from SAAC describing this issue. It seems he not only wants to revoke use of his name, but all icons and designations refering to cobra, shelby, 427 S/C, 289 cobra, and all the emblems. He also wants all the documentation compiled by SAAC of the years. Why don't some of you Lawyers out there volunteer your time to fight this instead of sitting on the sidelines?

As a taxpayer, I have supported the government of this country for longer than Shelby supported SAAC. Now, I want it all back, too.
Didn't SAAC start after Shelby had sold the rights to all those names to Ford, but before he made the effort to get them back? In other words, SAAC had the rights to them after he gave them up. If you throw something away, and someone comes along and picks it up out of the trash, can you then sue them to get it back??
Typical of the legal system in this country.

I'm sure Nedsel, Kopec, and the others, to whom you owe your hobby and this website are really feeling great right now. I'm sure something like that (even in jest) really lifted their spirits.

I think our governments are responsible for stealing alot more than that.

As a physician, I hope I never come across you in your Cobra having just had a wreck, and decide that I prefer your philosophy.
You guys are amazing. Don't you give a "$h!t" about anything except yourselves?

This from a guy who couldn't even figure out what brand of aluminum went into his car and argued his was better than other aluminum 4000s?
Talk about self-centered. They grow everything big in Texas...including egos.

As hard as you try jamo, you'll never be the biggest a$$hole with a Cobra. CS owns you on that one. Evan might call it "CS envy".
