Default New "Shelby" magazine

Stopped by the local magazine rack to see if there was anything interesting, and top-shelf in bold white letters over blue I see the word, "SHELBY".

Of course, I bought it.

I haven't had a chance to more than flip through it, but it looks like a limited release magazine. Covers everything Shelby, from the GT500KR on back through the first Cobra, with sections on the Children's Foundation, the new "real" CSX Cobras. My favorite, of course, is the black 289FIA CSX7000 on page 49, but everyone already knows the 289FIA is the coolest of the Cobras.

Looks like a marketing piece to link the new GT500KR back to the Shelby legacy, but that's okay. I'm sure theirs some good reading---there certainly are some great pictures!

The new mag was briefly disccused in the SAAC vs Shelby thread and in another one a few days ago. Basically, it's part of the new upcoming "Team Shelby" club, and yes it does focus a lot on the new Shelby Mustangs.

I picked one up the other night, and it's a great read. It has a LOT of history on all things Shelby, and discusses Cobras, Mustangs, the race teams, Carroll himself, and more. I enjoyed it a lot.

Doug: Check out the SAAC vs Shelby thread that PS mentioned. Amy B. of Shelby (pics of her in the new mag) posted about the new mag as well as the new Team Shelby club on the other thread.
New Mag has a lot of interesting reads and some great pics.
