I have the setup
Kramer I have the setup. They are going to go on my 498 motor next year if all goes well. The 484 has a small cam at 583-607" hydro roller. I am going with a little bigger cam in the .640" range. The Edelbrock heads are done to the limits. I want this motor for racing. With the car setup for the track, I don't think I will go through the pain in the A$$ of trying to put it on the street. I do have the street pipes and springs and shocks from ERA. Dry sump is another thing with the new motor. I love my FI system and going from a throttle body to the TWM will be easy. I may truck down to the SAAC in south jersery this year. I have seen a couple of the air filters for our stacks, but have not been impressed. I have a paxton hood on the car but at 125+mph the front end starts to pickup. Don't like the lite feeling in the steering. I may go back to the org hood to stop the lift. I can also drop the chassic height in the frontend. Have to see witch way the car want to work best. I have talked to a couple of guys about running an air box instead of the 8 single filters. At high speeds the back throttle bodies don't get the same clean air as the front ones. An air box will do 2 things, make it easier for a large air filter to get mounted in the front on the box, and pressurize the thottlebodies at high speed. Works like supercharging without the blower. Yes I am not running the blower at this time, The drive was a pain, and belt jump. I had 2 idlers to try and control this. I hope you had a great holiday, stay safe, and go easy on the desserts Rick L.
