Headlight switch question

I have a painless wiring harness and I am wiring in my headlights for the first time on the Daytona Coupe. The headlight switch is a Borg Warner 30 amp Push/Pull with turn dome and dimmer model that came with my harness. The wires in the Painless wiring harness are labled "headlight switch" are as follows:

Battery B+
Brake (white 14 GA)
Headlight ( Red 14 GA)
Dimmer (blue/red 16 GA)
Dash Brown 18 GA
Tail Brown 18 GA
Park Brown 18 GA

Posts on the switch are marked: Batt AUX Park Tail Dash Head

The only questions I have are where the white Brake wire and the Blue/Red Dimmer wires should be connected. I know the Blue/ Red wire has another lead that goes to the dimmer switch for the high/low beams.

Any help would be appreciated.

The dimmer wire may be the hot tap the the instrument light dimmer, only activates with the parking or main lighting switched on...

Actually, if I leave those two wires off I can dim/brighten my dash lights thru the rheostat that the dash lights are wired to. My first instinct was to wire the dimmer wire with the headlight wire but when I do that my headlights stay on all the time totally ignoring the switch.

But if you powered the dash lights via the headlight switch so that the dash lights could only be on (powered) when the parking lights or headlights were enerigized...you could still dim them via the rheostat...
