Exclamation Edit Post Not working

Maybe Brent is still doing some work but I just tried to Edit two posts and different Forums and it opens them ok, but when I tried to save the changes it just did nothing. I then went to a different Forum and tried the Advanced Edit Feature and it wouldn't even open. If you are working on these Brent ignore it, otherwise it is just a report of a minor thing that was working before and now doesn't for me at least.

Still didn't work. I posted the test post and then edited it and put Edit: test test in and when I clicked on Save Changes it just set there and did nothing. I am going to change computers to be sure there is nothing wrong with this one but it was working earlier before the quick menu bars re-appeared.

Relax....you just made me think when you said "..after the new menu"

I just tried it with MSIE.... it does not work, just like you said

I was in Firefox (where the menu doesn't show) and it works

Nope. I am using the other computer now and it does exactly the same thing. Will open the post for editing but then everything just sets. I can't even open the Advanced Edit from either computer. Maybe the loss of my Star did it.

I will attempt to edit this post and see what it does.

The same thing. Nothing in my Edit, Advanced Edit, Delete, or cancel row will even start to act as if it is going to worek. I don't have anything ion my CP that can affect this do I?

Ron,

Once again I owe you. Since we are so far apart tell me what it costs for dinner there, not flying to Paris, and I will buy you and your family dinner for all of your patience and help.

YES that is correct. I had to think for a minute. I thought that was a new kind of electricity.

I sent a message to Brent about the 'floating menu bar' screwing up functions in IE.

Like I said...you don't see that menu in Firefox and guess what....all the functions work in Firefox.

It'll get fixed....

Nope
I could open the edit page and make changes, but when hitting the save button, notheing happens.

Hey Ron, without the edit function, I could easily overtake your #1 position in a decade or two.

I just edited a post and it worked fine.

And I just edited your post...Jamo. Brent just took the Nav bar down, so there's evidently a conflict (as he alluded to which he's working on.

Really helps if you folks would simply post in the thread set up for glitches so Brent, Ron and I don't have to sort through different threads, PMs and e-mails to track things down. Oh...and calm down. It will all get sorted out...Jamo
