Oil Change/Air/Fuel filter change interval
I only drive my car 300-500 miles a year. Is it necesary to change my oil more often than once a year? Also, my car has 1600 miles on it and has been drivable for 3 years. I still have original air and fuel filters on it. Air filter appears clean. How often should they be changed?

I think once a year is fine for a car driven less than 500 miles.

At less than 500 miles per year, those filters will still be usable by your next of kin....

Thanks Patrick. You're right about my next of kin. If I don't start driving it more, they will appreciate the whole car!

Agree. Just got too many hobbies that all require same kind of weather. Maybe I can change the work interval!

Once a year for the oil and filter.
Once a decade for the air filter. But rotate it periodically so the dirt is not too noticable on the front by the scoop opening.

Good idea Warren. Thanks. Davids, maybe we can make deal. You come to Savannah and drive mine and I'll drive yours out there...at Bondurant! Maybe even take yours to Tempe next fall for UGA-Arizona St football game! Go Dogs!
