Upholstery Help
Has anyone used the Ultraleather product for their interior upholstery? I am considering it for my cobra and would like to know what type of experience others have had with it. Also, if you have used some other simulated leather that has worked well for you, let me know what it is.
Thanks,
Mark

Use a product with UV protection. An upholstery shop that specializes in boats can help you. I found some stuff that I purchased over the web from a dealer in Florida. Seems to work good. If you don't get UV protection material, the sun will break it down pretty quickly and you'll be doing the upholstery all over again.
Google "upholstery AND UV" and you'll get some sites.

Fortunately mine will see quite a bit of sun , and I’m not rich like you , so I don’t know if the leather idea will work.
Thanks for the UV advise. UltraLeather is made specifically for UV resistance, but I’m still looking for someone who is actually using it. I believe EM installs it in their cobras.
Thanks,
Mark

A little help guys!
Now come on; someone out there must have UltraLeather in their cobra. You Everett-Morrison guys need to step up to the plate and let me know what you think of it. Anything I can get will help!
Thanks,
Mark

Man I just got my car a couple of days ago from ERA and the leather is absolutely beautiful. I'm in Florida, but being garaged, I don't see any negative with leather. I love it!! With the flash, the leather shows a little lighter in color than actual. It is a dark saddle color. Rickd

lastdime...I too was concerned about the cash to and after looking around and sourcing everything I could find from boat shops to high end fabric places the leather was very reasonable. took 1 hide of leather for me and then a little bit of vinyl to finish up a few spots that dont really matter ... take a look at my gallery I posted pics
