For Sale—SLABSIDE 289: 289 Cobra replica, period-correct “slabside” coachwork, built by JCF (John’s Custom Fabrication). Rangoon Red/black interior. The BIG Picture: Click Here! Under the hood: original 1965 Ford V8 289, rebuilt and bored to 302 approx 250-280 horsepower, aluminium expansion & fill tanks, electronic ignition, aluminium Cobra rocker covers, aluminium multi-core radiator. Photo of powerplant: Click Here! Geartrain: Ford 5 speed gearbox, Ford solid rear axle. Hello Orskov,
Does the car your wanting, have to have a title and registration from the sixties also or just built before 1988? I don't know how to prove it was/ wasn't built with in those time frames unless you have a copy of the MSO? Just curious. Matt.

Orskov, I'm not actually interested in selling, just having fun with the 'good ones' line.
If I was it'd be about 40K. Aluminum headed 302, 4bbl, 5 speed, etc. Finished last year with about 4K miles so far.

Here's a pic of a "Cobra" without side pipes.

Oh wait, that's my car!

(I'd like to post bigger pics but I haven't been very successful to-date.)
