Anything New On The Cobra Registry
Just wondering if there is anything new to report on the Cobra Registry that we ordered back in 2004. I know that with all of the things that have been going on it had been delayed several times. I have the Deluxe Leather edition ordered and the letter I received said it would be # 112. I have had one offer to buy it from me, but would like to have it myself. Any news would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Ron

It's still being worked on. There's so much work to do on it, especially since it's so much different than previous registries. It was recently targeted for a spring 07 release, but I think that it will most likely be towards the end of the summer. I've been trying to help Rick and the guys out as best I can; I want mine just as much as anyone!

They are planning a "signing table" at SAAC-33, to get your copy autographed by the SAAC execs.
Rick posted on The Official SAAC Forum - Index a while back that the timetable was to get the new book in everyone's hands before August.

Ron,
Thanks for the information. I didn't want to bother Rick as I know they have plenty going on without me pestering them.
Bnewell,
Here is the letter that I received on 08-24-04. Has a cartoon at the top taking half the page.
Dear # 112,
We received your order for a Super Deluxe Exotic Leather bound limited edition of Volume 1 of the next registry. It will take about a year to complete - we've been gathering information for it since the day the last edition was completed. We appreciate your enthusiasm for and support of this project.
This note would be longer, but I've got to get back to work on the book if we're going to make that deadline a reality instead of a fantasy!
Signed Rick.
Ron

Shelby owned?
I suppose if they publish anything now, it would belong to Shelby anyway!

Maybe a cup of coffee (you can never, ever have too much coffee), but never a cane, you have me confused with someone else
