Default b&b whats your opinion

i have a chance to buy a b&b. it is wrecked, not to bad.

was wondering what folks opinion is on b&b kits.

only thing i dont like is upright windshield mand the tall roll bars.

any thoughts would be helpful.

thanks

Stretch - I may have missed it, but what happened with the other car that you bought?

Will you have the opportunity to bail if they can't get the title squared away within a specific time period?

Stretch,

You sure that is a B&B? Maybe it is the windshield and roll bars, but it just doesn't look like any B&B I have seen.

Those rollbars need to have clearance lights on them. Chop about a foot off them and they'd be okay.

Looks like a B&B to me. The wide roll bar(s) are an indication. My first Cobra was a B&B. It was nicely constructed though and a good car. It's just not as accurate as some. I don't know about the one you're interested in. You really need to see it in person to evaluate it.
Good luck.

If you have the option of dropping the CMC you may want to exercise it.

Default B & B

As far as B & B in concerned, they have a quality product and good customer service. They are quick to answer questions and provide information. I have called them many times and always got a prompt reply even if I was only seeking information. Ronald

It would be hard to find better customer service on any issues with B&B, I made dozens of call's with great responce from them while building mine!

Default This man's opinion

That car looks no bueno. The windshield angle (hard to fix) and the rollbar height (not so hard to fix) have both been identified. Maybe it's just those two, but the overall lines, the whole look, just don't seem right.

No doubt it would make a fun toy, but I'm wondering if you wouldn't end up wishing you had something else.

Good luck in your quests.

A couple of tell tale ways to confirm it's a B&B is the cross bar in the grill, The lack of a lip on the rear fender wells and a BB in the vin. B&B's have a wider roll bar but those in the pic are taller than normal. They are known for having a very sturdy frame & steel floor pan design. If you want an exact replica obviously you will have to spend a lot more money. The B&B is a sturdy inexpensive car for the guy that is looking for a nice looking Cobra hotrod without being stuck on being an exact replica. Enclosed are a couple of pics of mine and another B&B. Someday I hope to upgrade but for now I don't think I will ever get tired of hearing "is it real?" Matt
