Are line locks legal for street and/or track events?

I want to put a line lock on my front brakes to help with uphill starts.

Really.

Are they legal on a SB100 street car in California?
Are there issues relate to track events?

I do not know if a line lock is specifically prohibited by any sanctioning body but as long as installed safe and properly can not see any big deal. Go for it!!!! Ya can then do uphill starts and a burn out when you get to the top of the hill.
