If you can't afford to deal with shipping charges, maybe you shouldn't be dealing with Cobras, it only gets worse.

Finishline is a great company.

Grow some Balls.

I have had nightmares about pink thongs ever since...

BTW, I actually was trying to take a pic of a pink thong (you know which kind) held between my buns...I kept laughing so hard, it kept falling out.

Look, Finishline has been an awesome resource for parts and service has always been top shelf....just do a search for all the great feedback on them. Computerworks and Jamo were just addressing someone who was acting/reacting in such a manner that does nothing but create alarm for a company that has bent over backwards to help members here. TALK to Finishline and IF they don't work with you, report the problem in a way that members can assist.

Jamo gave fair warning to someone new that chose to use this place in a way that wasn't acceptable to the moderators. Respect it and move on. Both Computerworks and Jamo have been the very best over the years, and you may not always agree with them, but they are consistent and fair.

I am starting to appreciate the pink thong ban.

If you hate shipping charges, walk in my thongs for awhile. Shipping to Hawaii is as scary as my thongs.

Look, whether or not they choose to admit it, everyone here knows Jamo usually comes across with an attitude and just loves to bow up. I do too at times. And if that's really his ass, we have that in common too.
After reading the Finish Line thread, the initiator seems very much a rookie and slightly slanderous to a vendor (with which most of us have had a good experience) but Jamo certainly comes across arrogant.
Just my $.02

Yeah Jamo, I got sumpn' to say. As a 2 year lurker who has contributed virtually nothing to this site, I have to side with Ryan. Some newbie comes onto this site and you have the nerve to let him know how this site behaves. Well! The outrage!

Thumbs up

This is a good thread for popcorn. I've got plenty.

I have purchased a lot of parts from Finishline. Always got good prompt service and shipping. One time I did have a problem. They said do not worry, just keep the part and tell them next time I order something that they would delete the cost of the part.

Do you think I'll buy again from Finishline. Yesssserrrreeee Bob

I saw a thread named "Jamo" and I was expecting someone had "uncensored" picture of his avatar...

Glad when I opened the thread my eyes weren't burned out...

David

ps. Jamo and Ron have been doing this for years. He has even given me the boot at times. I can say I deserved it. One thing you will get from Ron and Jamo is even-handedness--regardless of race, religion, creed, political affiliation, height, cultural background, sexual orientation, weight, looks, flaming moonbat liberal or right wing nut-case wacko, good day, or bad day, Evan lover or Evan hater, big block or small block, 289 or 427 body style. (I think I covered all of us). They are chief baby-sitters and I don't envy them one little bit. Oh yea, I like Enzo too--we have bought a ton of stuff from him. He is GREAT.

We have a very effective symbiotic relationship when it comes to moderating.
Neither one of us has any issue with the other "taking the tag" when appropriate.

Between the two of us, we are on nearly 24 hrs dawn to dawn. Sadly, we both have to earn a living and sometimes, ya know... the phone rings and we can miss a beat...so the other guy steps in.
