Custom Backdraft Console.
OK, cats out of the bag. I designed and build the S/P consoles for Mike Stenhouse at SecondStrike.com. I also build the BDR version that debuted at the London Cobra Show last month. Should anyone be interested in a BDR version, I can be reached at arevetti@atlanticbb.net. or (716) 244-2638. You can find cheaper consoles, you will be very hard pressed to find one that can compete with our quality (extensively tested, this console has exceeded all expectations.)
Please order S/P consoles thru Mike. For anyone who has not yet had the pleasure to meet Mike, he is an exceptional cobra owner who has done much for the sport as proven on his SecondStrike website.
Hope this clears up a few questions.
Tony.

Doug, it's basically about 3 7/8" high, 8 1/4" length (at the base) and 5 1/4" wide, give or take. The lid overhangs the top by another 1 5/8".
Compared to the "second strike" version pictured above, the Olthoff version appears much more basic as well as smaller.

Are you satisfied with the quality? Under 4" in height is perfect for my application and I know the rest will work since it's made for an SPF. The Second strike unit has more bells and whistles, but it's 8" tall which is way too high for me.

It's smaller and simpler than I expected, for some reason, but the quality appears fine. There's not a lot of padding on top, so I wouldn't call it luxurious.

MY version, I can custom build it to any height you specify..
Look at my quality, it is better than Second Strike or any other one.

What do you charge for your armrest? We know what Olthoff and Second Strike are charging.

The cost of the one you see in the picture will cost you $300.00 including shipping..
The above unit is for a BDR, however I can custom build at no additional charge for any Cobra.
Just give me your desired size and I'll build it for you. (overall length and height, distance from shifter etc.) Or the way it currently fit for a BDR..see my pictures..

I just received my BDR console from Secondstrike.com, aka Stroked 66, who posted above. It is awesome! Very high quality. I got the taller one and it fits and matches perfectly.
The quality seems to be much better than the one posted by SKINNDR. Notice how the Secondstrike carpet and lid color matches. I am sure it took a lot of effort to get the colors correct on this. I sent them color samples that they matched it. It seems like all carpets are a different shade so I played it safe and I sent a small sample for them to work from.
Notice from the pictures that my e-brake handle is fully up and the shifter is in Reverse. No clearance issues.
Don't be fooled by cheap imitations.

Center Console
OK, here's the story! My business is custom design & fabrication, and after reading about, and seeing multiple photos of differant center consoles, I have decided to build a "piece" for my Superformance. I'll be working on it in the next week and will post photos after I've installed it & feel satisfied with it!

Why is everyone trying to steal the business from SecondStrike? They came up with a great idea, built a very high quality product, and are offering it for a great price. They also participate at the shows and are a group that will stand behind their products. Why try to undercut them?
Personally I would never buy for someone that attempts to steal someone elses idea and use it for personal profit.
If anyone has any specific questions about my BDR console, I would be happy to try to answer them.
Thanks,
Revman

Revman, what do mean by cheap immitation? Obviously you are already committed and you are stuck with what you have. You must be blind to make a statement like that. Take another look at mine and you can never compare. Obviously you are influenced.
Cheap immitation, how do you quantify that? Cheap immitation similar to the original Cobra vs Replica? Is that what you are saying?
Remember I came up with the first BDR console version. These are all custom built, do you understand that?
I'm an engineer, I design and build from scratch.
Take another look...

Dex, I did not mean to offend you. It is just that I wanted it to look like it was made for the car, not an add on. The one I got from SecondStrike matches perfectly so I could not be happier. The carpet on the base is a dead match for my BDR carpet and the grey leather on the top matches as well. Matching carpet and leather is not as easy task, but if you go trying to paint or stain yours, we will find that out. Best of luck to you.

Center Console
Yo Revman, I am not in the business of stealing anyone else's idea or undercutting the price of anything being sold out there in Cobraland! Did you happen to notice that your Cobra replica is just that, a "replica" of the original! I design [as in create] & fabricate to a "high-end" market [ www.outfrontdesign.com] and will make my center console from matte black acrylic and/or stainless steel. Furthermore, automobile center consoles are not exactly a new & original idea and if I care to produce a better "mouse-trap", I shall, with or without your opinion.

Center Console
The link to my website, [ www.outfrontdesign.com] dosen't seem to work from here so if you care to see it you'll have to go to it directly. I will post photos of my center console as well as several other items I have custom fabricated for my Cobra in the near future!
