Geez, you must have taped a whole roll of pennies on the pickup arm to keep it from skipping...
I figured at some point I might get a set of seats with the speakers in the headrest and install some type of MP3 player. I can imagine CDs would be a PIA to deal with. Maybe some of the marine stuff would be better suited to the harsh Cobra enviroment.

... and that was after using your finger to make the turntable go backwards so you could listen for the hidden messages (and destroying your needle at that same time). I always tried to do that on a friend's turntable.

Bought mine as a roller that the previous owner spent over $3,500 on a stereo system on. Has a fully discrete Pioneer with a small console I hide under the dash, and a remote to operate it with. Also has a 6 disk CD player in the trunk. I haven't used it after trying it at 3600 rpms on the freeway and couldn't hear a thing out of the large speakers behind my head. Nothing but sidepipes....much better sound anyway.
If I could figure out how to disconnect it all and leave the alarm system in, I'd do it. The whole setup occupies the space under the rear deck where I could have installed a roll bar.
Oh well.

The wife and I each have our own ipods and listen to whatever we want during a cruise.
But, nothing drowns out the sidepipes.
The music is just background.

I have never once wished I had a radio in my car, but that's just me.

On the same note, the car is so loud I had ringing in my ears especially the left one after driveing over 1 hour. I started using the foam ear plugs to prevent any damage. I have only had my car for a few months, I cant imagine the ear problems after years.
Unless the radio has sub titles, I imagine it would be a waste.
