Default Aaah the F1 Melbourne GP

Hi all,

Well I'm about to head out to the F1 Grand prix in Melbourne and just heard the temperature expected today of 40c or 111f.

Hope you can sit back and watch the Melbourne Grand prix on television and have a cold beer.

Think I'll be seeking out the F1 corporate box and a cold beer also.

I deliberately missed the middle east GP's due to heat and now find we are hotter than Phoenix and it's not a dry heat..

Will post some photos tonight..

F1 cars at 1000 and 1400 and the V8 about 1600 - Friday program

Bernie

Bernie,

Are you taking Hershel with you? Tell him to watch the heat and take care of himself because we need him to finish the design of the shirts for this years Run and Gun.

Finally the F1 season begins! I miss it so much after watching Nascar chase your tail racing. Don't much care for Ferrari but I'm a Kimi fan so I guess I'll have to pull for Ferrari again.

Understand the future of the Australian GP is uncertain. What's the gossip in the paddock? Does Ecclestone want more dough? I have often thought Phillip Island would be a great venue, or.....The Panorama Circuit! F1 cars flying off a mountainside!

Never mind - when Commizzar Bernie Eccles gets his way (as he always must) you'll be watching the race at 1a.m. so by then the heat might not be so bad due to a distinct lack of sun. Then us Important Folk in the west can watch in comfort at a sensible hour on our pay-to-view idiot-boxes. Yeah - right.

In a normal world, Bernie and Max would be certified on the spot, but as we all know, people like them have taken over the asylum.

Trevor, just think of all the new, interesting people you will meet in the 'Park at 1:00 am in the morning. You'll have a whole new set of friends, and you can introduce them to Bernie and Max, because they will be the only other people there!

It might be advisable for Bernie to leave his wallet at home in that case....!!!

I thought Bernie wanted the night race so that his friends in London could watch the race and have high tea at the same time! We wouldn't want our fans in London and Munich to suffer sleep deprivation while the Aussies bake!
