What's up with the hydrogen powered Cobra lately?

I was amazed a few years ago when a guy hornswoggled Shelby, the original Hornswoggler, out of a Cobra replica to create a clean air car but if you look at his technical paper,

it sounds like he really did create what he promised, a hydrogen powered Cobra. Does anybody know if this project is still going on? I know the C-CERT program still continnues at UC Riverside, it's just that I go there every few weeks and never see any hydrogen puffing Cobras (well, maybe they just puff out air or water...) toodling about....

I am fairly certain that the is the car I saw in the SAI museum in Las Vegas late last year.
