Meeting the neighbors
Well Thursday I spent a good amount of the day working on the new 408, higher compression then the 347 an also added Howl racing mufflers and John Ross was helping, brandie just got home an we decided to start it cause I wanted to hear the louder more aggresive sound. Well the throttle was open slighly so when it started (btw it started right up) it reved to about 3500 rpm's so we had john on the carb controlling the trottle and did it again, and i finally got to hear the cam sing and the new 408 come to life officially at 11:30Pm Thursday. Well I meet a neighbor 5 houses down when he came to "talk" to me today while washing her. I explained it wouldn't be common to tune work on it that late just wanted to officially start it, also have had several other neighbors mention it. then about 90% of them commented how bad-ass it sounds, just not at midnight on a work day
